## Ingredients
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Cream of chicken soup
- Sour cream
- Salt & pepper
- Noodles
## Topping
- Buttery crackers
- Butter
## Instructions
1. Combine cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and salt and pepper.
2. Mix in noodles (you may want to pre-cook until al dente)
3. Transfer to a baking dish.

# Mrs. Corn's Rice Krispie Cookies
## Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups oat meal
- 2 cups coconut
- 1 cup Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- Pinch of salt
## Instructions (inferred)
1. Beat eggs in a large bowl.
2. Add white sugar, brown sugar, and butter; mix well.
3. Stir in flour, oat meal, coconut, and Rice Krispies.
4. Add baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix until combined.
5. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 10–12 minutes. -

## Ingredients
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter + lard
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cake yeast
- 2 eggs
- 5-6 cups flour (inferred)
## Instructions (inferred)
1. Proof yeast in a little lukewarm water or warm milk
2. Scald and cool milk, combine with sugar, salt, fat
3. Add eggs and yeast, incorporate flour gradually
4. First rise ~1–1½ hours, shape, second rise ~45–60 minutes
5. Bake ~375°F for 18–22 minutes -
Lazy Daisy Cake
Lazy Daisy Cake.

Beat 4 eggs all together.
2 cups sugar. add to eggs beat
well.
2 cups of flour sifted with
2 teaspoons Baking Powder.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1 teaspoon vanila.
Beat very good.
2 tablespoons. of butter or
shorting.
1 cup sweet milk.
Heat the milk. with butter in
do not boil and pour over
cake batter and. stir till
smoth.
When baked. Pour over.
6 table spoons. Butter
10 table spoons. Brown sugar
4 table spoons. cream.
2 cups coconut.
Put under. oven in broiler
and. Brown.
over.

# Lazy Daisy Cake

## Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour, sifted with:
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp butter or shortening
- 1 cup sweet milk
## Topping
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 10 Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp cream
- 2 cups coconut
## Instructions
1. Beat 4 eggs all together.
2. Add 2 cups sugar to eggs; beat well.
3. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt; add to egg mixture.
4. Add vanilla. Beat very good.
5. Heat the milk with butter; do not boil. Pour over cake batter and stir until smooth.
6. Bake cake.
## Topping
1. While you are mixing your cake, prepare the frosting: set on top of oven so it will melt, and stir once in a while during the time your cake is baking.
2. When cake is baked, combine butter, brown sugar, cream, and coconut; pour over cake.
3. Put under oven broiler and brown.
4. While the frosting is browning, watch very closely as it only takes a few seconds and burns very easily.
*Note: This makes a very large cake; some times I take just half the amount.* -
White Bread / Dark Bread
Here is the recipe for the way
I make my bread, Kristina. But
remember that your Grandma can
make just as good bread as I do.
Some times I get it so very good
& some times not so good.
White Bread
In the evening I scald 1½ cups
sour milk & then put salt & 1c cold
water in, & set away untill luke
warm. Then soak 1 yeast in ½ cup
luke warm water, & 1 teaspoon sugar
I use red star yeast, or Maca yeast
I like it best, but can't get it now.
Then mix yeast & the sour milk, &
beat in flour in untill you can't beat
it any more, then put more flour
in & knead until you think it
right for putting in pans.
Then in morning put in pans
& let rise, & then bake.
Now you can make it any time you
want to, but I like it this way,
because then I can get it baked in
the morning.
Dark Bread
In the evening scald 1½ cup sour
milk, then put 1 cup cold water in, & set
set away till luke warm.
Then soak 1 yeast in ½ cup luke
warm water, & 1 teaspoon sugar.
Then mix yeast & sour milk, & beat
in enough Rye Graham flour (Pumpernickle

get it) till you can't beat it
any more. Then in morning
knead enough white flour in, so
its right to put in pans.
Put in pans, & put in oven
right away, & bake. Do not let
it rise in pans.

## White Bread Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sour milk
- Salt
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 yeast cake (Red Star yeast, or Maca yeast)
- 1/2 cup luke warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Flour (as much as needed)
## White Bread Instructions
1. In the evening, scald 1 1/2 cups sour milk, then put salt and 1 cup cold water in, and set away until luke warm.
2. Soak 1 yeast in 1/2 cup luke warm water with 1 teaspoon sugar.
3. Mix yeast and the sour milk, and beat in flour until you can't beat it any more.
4. Put more flour in and knead until right for putting in pans.
5. In the morning, put in pans and let rise, then bake.
## Dark Bread Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sour milk
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 yeast cake
- 1/2 cup luke warm water
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Rye Graham flour (Pumpernickel / Rye Graham is best)

1/2 cup black molassas

## Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 lb seeded raisins
- 1 lb currants
- 1 lb figs
- 1 lb dates
- 1/4 lb orange peel
- 1/4 lb citron
- 1/4 lb lemon peel
- 1 cup almond meat
- 2 tsp cloves
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 3 cups brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter or Crisco
- 8 eggs
- 1/2 cup black molasses
- 1 tsp baking soda (dissolved in molasses)
- 1 small glass brandy or 2 small glasses wine
## Instructions
1. Add first 4 eggs, then the remaining 4 eggs.
2. Dissolve 1 tsp baking soda into the molasses.
3. Combine all ingredients together.
4. Bake 2 hours in a slow oven.
5. Makes about 5 cakes. -

Simmer grapes of 1 basket with
1 cup water for 1 hour, then drain
& measure, take 3 cups sugar to
each 2 cups juice, heat juice &
add sugar, stir well till sugar
is dissolved bring to a boil only,
and fill glasses.

## Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 lemon juice & grated rind
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup milk, scalded & cooled
- 1 cup lukewarm water with 2 cakes yeast
- 5-6 cups flour (inferred)
## Instructions (inferred)
1. Dissolve yeast cakes in lukewarm water; let proof ~10 minutes until foamy
2. Combine scalded (then cooled) milk, sugar, salt, butter, eggs, lemon juice and zest, nutmeg
3. Mix in yeast mixture
4. Add flour gradually until a soft, slightly tacky dough forms
5. First rise: cover and let rise until doubled, roughly 1–1½ hours at room temperature
6. Punch down, shape into rolls
7. Second rise: let rise again until puffy, roughly 45–60 minutes
8. Bake at 375°F for 18–22 minutes until golden brown

## Ingredients
- 1 basket grapes
- 1 cup water
- 3 cups sugar per every 2 cups juice
## Instructions
1. Simmer grapes of 1 basket with 1 cup water for 1 hour, then drain & measure.
2. Take 3 cups sugar to each 2 cups juice.
3. Heat juice & add sugar, stir well till sugar is dissolved.
4. Bring to a boil only, and fill glasses. -

dry onion soup mix
mix - 1 can coke
1 can cr. of mushroom soup
Pour over - cook
slow about 300° 4 to 6 hrs.

## Ingredients
- 1/2 gallon sherbet ice cream
- 2 (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate
- 2 (12 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate
- 1 liter Squirt, Sprite, or 7-Up
- 1 liter ginger ale
## Instructions
1. Mix frozen lemonade, frozen orange juice, Squirt/Sprite/7-Up, and ginger ale together.
2. Add sherbet just before serving. -

Indian Chocolate Cake 1973
Cream together 1/2 c. butter or oleo
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
Add one lg. egg - beat well.
Sift together 1 1/2 c. flour
2 heaping tsp cocoa
1 tsp soda.
Add to mixture alternating with
one c. cold coffee (or Instant)
Beat well and bake 350° until
done.
Frosting - 3 tbsp. oleo.
3 " milk or cream
3/4 c. white sugar
Boil 30 seconds.
Add 1/4 c. chocolate chips.
Beat and spread on cake
for larger cake, double recipe

# Indian Chocolate Cake
## Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter or oleo
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 heaping tsp cocoa
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c. cold coffee (or instant)
## Instructions
1. Cream together butter or oleo, sugar, and cream of tartar.
2. Add one large egg and beat well.
3. Sift together flour, cocoa, and baking soda.
4. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternating with the cold coffee.
5. Beat well and bake at 350° until done.
## Frosting
- 3 Tbsp oleo
- 3 Tbsp milk or cream
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. chocolate chips
## Frosting Instructions
1. Combine oleo, milk or cream, and white sugar.
2. Boil 30 seconds.
3. Add chocolate chips.
4. Beat and spread on cake.
5. For a larger cake, double the recipe. -
