# Ginger Ale Punch
*Recipe from the kitchen of Mrs. Barb Washburn*
## Ingredients
- 2 qt ginger ale
- 1 cup strong tea
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- Booze to taste
## Instructions
1. Make tea with cinnamon sticks; boil briefly.
2. Pour hot tea over sugar and stir to dissolve.
3. Add juices and booze.
4. Add ginger ale at the end.
5. Can refrigerate on its own overnight without the ginger ale (add ginger ale just before serving). -
Hot Red Wine
Card 1 Front:
Hot Red Wine 4-6 servings
1 btle Red wine - dry (1qt)
Put in pot add 1 btle water (1qt)
2 oranges - sliced
8 Cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
1 lemon sliced - or juice
3/4-1 c. sugar
Steam for 40-1 hr. Don't boil !! Serve warm

# Hot Red Wine
*Makes 4–6 servings*
## Ingredients
- 1 bottle dry red wine (1 qt)
- 1 bottle water (1 qt)
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 8 cloves
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 1 lemon, sliced — or juice only
- 3/4–1 cup sugar
## Instructions
1. Put wine in pot; add water.
2. Add oranges, cloves, cinnamon, lemon (sliced or juiced), and sugar.
3. Steam for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Do not boil.
4. Serve warm. -

# Cocoa Mix to Use with Water
## Ingredients
- 1 lb. Quick (Nestlé Quik) (more, to taste)
- 8 qt. dry milk
- 7 oz. Creamora (non-dairy creamer powder) (less, to taste)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
## Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Use 4 teaspoons of mix per cup of hot water. -

## Ingredients

- 1 can (6 oz) frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- 1 can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 litre 7-Up, chilled or ice
## Instructions
1. Mix the first 5 ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
2. Chill (or use ice).
3. Add 7-Up just before serving. -

# Russian Tea
## Ingredients
- 1 cup instant tea
- 1 (18 oz) jar Tang, minus 1/2 cup
- 1 pkg. Wyler's lemonade mix (1 qt size) — **or** — 1/2 cup + 1 1/2 Tbsp Kool-Aid lemonade mix (half of 2 qt size)
- 1 tsp ground clove
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup sugar
## Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Use 2 heaping teaspoons per cup of hot water; use more for a mug. Adjust to taste. -

4 allspice berries 2 TB chopped fresh ginger
8 cups apple cider 3 cups fresh lemon juice

in heavy large saucepan over medium heat. Bring
to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Boil 10
minutes. Remove syrup from heat. Cover and
let stand 1 hour.

apple cider, orange and lemon juices.Chill

## Ingredients
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 whole cloves
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 4 allspice berries
- 2 Tbsp chopped fresh ginger
- 8 cups apple cider
- 3 cups fresh lemon juice (from about 9 lemons)
- 2 cups fresh orange juice (from about 6 oranges)
- Rum (optional)
## Instructions
1. Combine the first six ingredients (going across: water, sugar, whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, allspice berries, and chopped fresh ginger) in a heavy large saucepan over medium heat.
2. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Boil 10 minutes.
3. Remove syrup from heat. Cover and let stand 1 hour.
4. Strain sugar syrup into a large bowl. Stir in apple cider, orange and lemon juices. Chill punch, or warm in a heavy large pot over medium heat.
5. Transfer to a large bowl. Serve.
6. Can be prepared 2 days ahead. Cover and refrigerate.

- **"Orange and lemon juices"** referenced in instructions but only lemon juice (3 cups) appears in the ingredient list. ## Ingredients
- 1 box (8 qt) dry powdered milk
- 1 jar (11 oz) Coffee Mate creamer
- 1 can (32 oz) Nestle Quik chocolate mix
- 1 cup powdered sugar
## Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients in a very large bowl and mix thoroughly until evenly blended.
2. Store in an airtight container.
### To Serve
Add 3 Tbsp mix to 1 cup hot water and stir until fully dissolved. Adjust to taste. -
