Juice of 3 oranges and 3 lemons
2 mashed bananas
Boil together 3 cups sugar and
3 cups water. Pour over fruit
mixture and freeze.
Put in cocktails dishes or fruit
cups and pour gingerale or 7 Up
over it to serve.

# Frozen Cocktail Mixture
## Ingredients
- Juice of 3 oranges
- Juice of 3 lemons
- 2 mashed bananas
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups water
- Ginger ale or 7 Up (to serve)
## Instructions
1. Combine juice of 3 oranges and 3 lemons with 2 mashed bananas in a bowl.
2. Boil together 3 cups sugar and 3 cups water to make a simple syrup.
3. Pour the hot syrup over the fruit mixture.
4. Freeze until solid.
5. To serve, place scoops into cocktail dishes or fruit cups and pour ginger ale or 7 Up over the top. -

Banana Nut Bread
3 Bananas 1/2 C butter
1 C sugar 1 C. nuts
2 C flour 2 eggs
1 t soda
Mash bananas, add sugar & mix well.
Sift flour & soda togeather. Add a little
of the flour 1 egg to the bananas pulp
& beat. Add more flour & other egg.
Beat well & add remaining flour, add
butter & nuts. Place in loaf pan & bake in
moderate oven 350° for 45 min

## Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup nuts
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
## Instructions
1. Mash bananas, add sugar and mix well.
2. Sift flour and soda together.
3. Add a little of the flour and 1 egg to the banana pulp and beat.
4. Add more flour and the other egg. Beat well.
5. Add remaining flour, then add butter and nuts.
6. Place in a loaf pan and bake in a moderate oven at 350° for 45 minutes. -

- Bananas
- A little melted butter
- A few drops of lemon juice
- Freshly made squares of toast
- 3 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
## Instructions
1. Mash bananas with a fork.
2. Mix with a little melted butter and a few drops of lemon juice.
3. Spread on freshly made squares of toast.
4. Sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar (3 Tbsp sugar to 1 tsp cinnamon).
5. Place under a moderate broiler flame until the sugar melts.
6. Serve hot.

## Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup butter and lard, melted, scant
- 1/2 cup sour milk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 2 level tsp baking powder
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup walnuts
## Instructions
1. Cream together sugar and eggs.
2. Add scant 1/2 cup melted butter and lard; mix well.
3. Combine sour milk and baking soda; add to mixture.
4. Stir in flour and baking powder.
5. Fold in mashed bananas and walnuts.

## Ingredients
- 1 pkg vanilla wafers, crushed (divided into 2 parts — half on bottom of pie)
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 pt cream, beaten
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 small can cherries, drained
- 2 bananas
## Instructions
1. Crush vanilla wafers and divide into 2 parts. Place half on the bottom of a pie dish.
2. Cream 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup powdered sugar.
3. Add 2 beaten eggs and mix until smooth.
4. Pour mixture over the wafers.
5. Beat 1/2 pt cream and layer over the filling.
6. Add chopped nuts, drained cherries, and bananas.
7. Sprinkle the remaining wafers on top. -

## Ingredients
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup white sugar
- 3 bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup sour milk or buttermilk
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup shortening (1 stick margarine, melted)
- 2 cups flour
## Instructions
1. Beat eggs and sugar in a large mixer bowl.
2. Add bananas and beat well.
3. Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
4. Bake at 350° in one large loaf pan or two small ones for 35 minutes. -

1 stick Betty Crocker Instant Mixing Pie Crust Mix
3 medium size bananas
1 package (8 oz.) Borden's Cream Cheese, softened
1⅓ cups (15 oz. can) Borden's Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
⅓ cup lemon juice • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Prepare 9 inch baked pie shell as directed on Pie Crust Mix

- 1 stick Betty Crocker Instant Mixing Pie Crust Mix
- 3 medium size bananas
- 1 package (8 oz.) Borden's Cream Cheese, softened

## Ingredients
- 1 yellow cake mix, baked in 2 (8 or 9") round pans
- 2 large boxes vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 - 16 oz Cool Whip
- 1 - 16 oz crushed pineapple, drained
- 3 large bananas, sliced
- 2 cartons strawberries, raspberries, or equivalent sugared fresh (or frozen) berries
- Nuts (optional)
## Instructions
1. Bake yellow cake mix in two (8 or 9") round pans according to package directions. Allow to cool.
2. Prepare vanilla instant pudding mix according to package directions.
3. Layer in a punch bowl in this order:

5. Half of the pudding
6. All of the pineapple
7. All of the bananas
8. Half of the Cool Whip
9. 1 cake layer
10. Remaining half of the pudding
11. All of the berries

High Fiber Bran Muffin Recipe
It's our family favorite!
2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 cups oat bran
1 1/2 cups raw bran
2 cups milk, or rice/soya milk
1/2 cup canola oil
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup Sucanat, or dark brown sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. sea salt
2 medium apples, shredded
1 cup carrot pulp (from juice machine), or 3 carrots finely shredded
2 bananas, mashed
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped fine (optional)
1 cup raisins (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat oil, Sucanat, honey, carrot pulp, mashed bananas, shredded apples,
eggs and milk together.
Add the wheat and oat bran and let sit 10 minutes. Pre-mix the dry ingredients and fold into the bran
mixture until just mixed (don't overmix). Add the pecans and raisins.
Fill muffin tins with mixture (don't overfill) and bake for approx. 20 minutes.
