Sweet - N - Sour Beans
Fry 8 slices bacon - set aside
in grease fry 4 chopped onions
add 1 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp
dry mustard 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp

## Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 4 onions, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp dry mustard

- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1 can butter beans, drained
- 1 can green lima beans, drained
- 1 can northern beans, drained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
## Instructions
1. Fry 8 slices of bacon; set aside.
2. In the bacon grease, fry 4 chopped onions.
3. Add brown sugar, dry mustard, salt, garlic powder, and cider vinegar.
4. Cook for 20 minutes.
5. Drain all canned beans and mix together with the bacon and onion mixture. -
Oriental Cabbage Salad
ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD
2 tsp. sesame seeds 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup sliced almonds 2 tsp. sugar
1/2 head cabbage, chopped 1/2 cup oil
4 green onions, chopped 3 Tbsp. vinegar
1 pkg. chicken-flavored ramen noodles 1 tsp. salt
Toast sesame seeds and almonds 5-10 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Break noodles into bite-size pieces and add to sesame seeds and almonds.
Combine cabbage and onions. Combine flavor packet from ramen noodles
with pepper, sugar, oil, vinegar and salt and mix well.
At serving time, add seeds, almonds and noodles to cabbage and
onions and mix well. For softer noodles in salad, combine all ingredients in
advance of serving time.

## Ingredients
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 head cabbage, chopped

- 1 pkg chicken-flavored ramen noodles
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 3 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp salt

# Freezer Pie Crust
## Ingredients
- 1 5 lb bag of flour
- 1 3 lb can of Crisco
- 3 Tbsp salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 cups lukewarm water
## Instructions
1. Mix in a very large bowl: flour, Crisco, and salt.
2. Cut in with a pastry blender.
3. Blend in brown sugar and lukewarm water.
4. Makes 20 crusts. Form into balls and freeze in plastic freezer bags. -

- 1 cup Smuckers Sugar Free Preserves
- 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
## Instructions
1. Whisk together preserves, vinegar, mustard, and pepper until emulsified.
2. Gradually whisk in 1/2 cup oil, then water. -

36 graham cracker squares
1/2 cup butter or margarine (1 stick)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
Pre-heat oven to 350. To keep the cookies from sticking, cover 2
cookie sheets with foil. Break graham crackers on perforated
lines. Place crackers, side by side, on the foil-covered cookie
sheets.
In a saucepan melt butter . Stir in brown sugar until well
combined. Drizzle on top of crackers. Sprinkle with chopped
nuts.
Bake at 350 for 8-10 min. Cool on cookie sheets. Store tightly
covered. Makes 72.

# Nut-Cracker Sweets
## Ingredients
- 36 graham cracker squares
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine (1 stick)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
## Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. To keep the cookies from sticking, cover 2 cookie sheets with foil.
3. Break graham crackers on perforated lines. Place crackers, side by side, on the foil-covered cookie sheets.
4. In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar until well combined.
5. Drizzle butter and sugar mixture on top of crackers. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
6. Bake at 350°F for 8–10 minutes.
7. Cool on cookie sheets. Store tightly covered.
Makes 72. -

## Ingredients
- 2 lb hamburger
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup oats
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can milk
- Garlic powder

1. Mix together hamburger, milk, Worcestershire sauce, oats, and chopped onion.
2. Shape into steaks and brown.
3. Pour 1 can cream of mushroom soup and 1 can milk over them.
4. Sprinkle with garlic powder.
5. Bake for 1 hour at 375°F. -

- 1 lb mild Mexican Velveeta

- Hershey's Kisses
## Instructions
1. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt.
2. Add butter, peanut butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Mix well.
3. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well.
4. Roll dough into balls, roll in sugar, and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes.
6. Place a Hershey's Kiss on each cookie.
7. Bake an additional 2-5 minutes. -

3/4 c Shredded Carrots

6 T Margarine
2 1/2 c Stuffing Mix
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/2 c Sour Cream
1/2 c Cheddar Cheese
Cook Zucchini until barely

Tender. Saute carrots & onions
in 3T Margarine then mix with
1 c Stuffing mix, mushroom soup
& Sour Cream. Fold in Zucchini.
Melt remaining butter & mix in
Remaining Stuffing mix for
Topping.

- 4 medium zucchini
- 3/4 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 6 Tbsp margarine
- 2 1/2 cups stuffing mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
## Instructions
1. Cook zucchini until barely tender.
2. Sauté carrots and onions in 3 Tbsp margarine.
3. Mix in 1 cup stuffing mix, mushroom soup, and sour cream.
4. Fold in zucchini.
5. Melt remaining butter and mix in remaining stuffing mix for topping.
6. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
